The American Academy of Family Physician Foundation (AAFP Foundation) has partnered with Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) since 2011 through its Family Medicine Cares USA program to provide grants to free health care clinics that serve the uninsured. Family Medicine Cares USA offers grants to new clinics nearing the completion of the VIM development process., Additionally, grants are available for clinics that are already operational and are caring for the uninsured in their communities.
